| Congressman Rob Bresnahan took the time this past weekend to pen a column criticizing one of his local newspapers for what he alleges is a flip-flop in their position.
Bresnahan writes: “this is the same newspaper that once said the exact opposite.”
This is particularly ironic because it is actually Congressman Bresnahan who is famous for flip-flopping.
Most people know Bresnahan as the politician who campaigned on a promise to ban congressional stock trading, only to then become one of the most active stock traders in all of Congress.
Bresnahan is also known for flip-flopping on his promise to protect access to health care, only to then turn around and vote for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Rob Bresnahan is embarrassing himself. Instead of spending his time trading stocks and writing columns criticizing the local newspaper, he should get back to his day job in Congress and actually do something to lower costs for hardworking NEPA families.” |
