| David Valadao is “embroiled in an intraparty health care fight that could hinder [his] reelection campaign,” and has been left “powerless,” POLITICO reports.
After Republicans refused to stop catastrophic lapses in Affordable Care Act credits, Californians are now bracing for their premiums to skyrocket by 97% on average in the new year. No amount of spin can cover up Valadao’s real record of gutting health care and driving up costs for working families.
And worse, his own deputy speaker that he’s spent years cozying up to has made it clear Valadao is on his own.
REMINDER: Valadao cast a deciding vote on the largest cut to Medicaid in history. Valadao has voted at least 30 times to cripple, defund, or change the Affordable Care Act – a record that cost him his seat in 2018.
