Donald Trump is the Republican nominee and when Denise Gitsham was asked in an interview with San Diego’s KUSI, she said she will support ‘the Republican nominee.’

The truth is the two candidates have plenty in common. Channeling Trump’s announcement speech when he attacked Mexican immigrants as rapists, Gitsham suggested denying entry to pregnant women who want to enter the United States saying, “It’s not hard to pick out a pregnant woman.”
Both Trump and Gitsham oppose marriage equality, want to defund Planned Parenthood and favor bringing guns into schools.
“Whether she’s willing to say it out loud or not, Denise Gitsham is on the Trump Ticket. There is really nothing for her to be shy about, since they’re already on the same page on the issues, from targeting immigrants to opposing marriage equality,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC.
