Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Congressman Peter DeFazio, who chairs the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across Oregon.

This infrastructure deal marks the largest and most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century, and thanks to the work of President Biden, Rep. “This is a historic moment for every person across Oregon, as they can expect to see once-in-a-generation improvements in their local infrastructure that will significantly improve their everyday lives,” said DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw. “Voters can thank Congressman DeFazio for playing a vital role in delivering these historic wins that will last for generations to come, ease inflation, and ensure thousands of local workers find good-paying jobs.”
