President Biden Signs Historic Infrastructure Deal Claudia Tenney Voted Against Into Law

New Yorkers are getting a historic win today, no thanks to Claudia Tenney

Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Democrats worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across New York. But you won’t see Rep. Tenney celebrating this historic accomplishment — because she sided with party bosses and voted against the once-in-a-generation investment that will strengthen America’s infrastructure and create millions of jobs.

This infrastructure deal marks the largest and most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century. Despite Claudia Tenney’s reckless opposition, thanks to the work of President Biden and Congressional Democrats, families across New York will soon be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.

From fixing crumbling roads and bridges in New York, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, ensuring every New Yorker has access to high speed internet, delivering clean water to homes and schools, modernizing public transit, and helping save our environment from the climate crisis, families and workers across Central New York will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.

“If Claudia Tenney had her way, our nation’s crumbling infrastructure would continue to fall into disrepair,” said DCCC Spokesperson Abel Iraola. “Tenney already proved that she would rather side with party bosses than deliver wins for Central New York. The signing of this once-in-a-generation legislation serves as a reminder that while Democrats are delivering, voters cannot rely on Claudia Tenney to do the same.”
