Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across Michigan.
This infrastructure deal marks the most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure in nearly a century, and thanks to the work of President Biden, Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens, and Congressional Democrats, families across the Great Lakes State will now be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.
From fixing Michigan’s crumbling roads and bridges, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, ensuring every Michigander has access to high speed internet, and delivering clean water, families and workers across the state will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.
