Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Lauren Underwood worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across Illinois.
This infrastructure deal marks the most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure in nearly a century, and thanks to the work of President Biden, Lauren Underwood, and Congressional Democrats, families across IL-14 will now be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.
From fixing Illinois’ crumbling roads and bridges, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, ensuring every Illinoisan has access to high speed internet, and delivering clean water, families and workers across the district will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.
