President Biden Signs Historic Infrastructure Deal Rep. Kim Schrier Passed Into Law

Schrier Joins President Biden at White House After Passing Once-In-A-Generation Investments to Strengthen America’s Infrastructure

Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Congresswoman Schrier worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across Washington state.

This infrastructure deal marks the largest and most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century, and thanks to the work of President Biden, Rep. Schrier, and Congressional Democrats, families across Washington state will now be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.

From fixing Washington’s crumbling roads and bridges, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, ensuring every person in Washington state has access to high speed internet, delivering clean water to homes and schools, modernizing public transit, and helping save our environment from the climate crisis, families and workers across WA-08 will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.

“This is a historic moment for every person across Washington state, as they can expect to see once-in-a-generation improvements in their local infrastructure that will significantly improve their everyday lives,” said DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw. “Voters can thank Congresswoman Schrier for playing a vital role in delivering these historic wins that will last for generations to come, ease inflation, and ensure thousands of local workers find good-paying jobs.”
