President Biden Signs Once-In-A-Generation Investments Horsford Worked to Pass to Strengthen America’s Infrastructure & Create Millions of Jobs

Today, President Biden signed into law the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Congressman Steven Horsford worked to pass to deliver real results for families and workers across Nevada.

This infrastructure deal marks the largest and most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century, and thanks to the work of President Biden, Rep. Horsford, and Congressional Democrats, families across Nevada will now be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.

From fixing Nevada’s crumbling roads and bridges, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, ensuring every Nevadan has access to high speed internet, delivering clean water to homes and schools, modernizing public transit, and helping save our environment from the climate crisis, families and workers across NV-04 will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.

“This is a historic moment for every person across Nevada, as they can expect to see once-in-a-generation improvements in their local infrastructure that will significantly improve their everyday lives,” said DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw. “Voters can thank Congressman Horsford for playing a vital role in delivering these historic wins that will last for generations to come, ease inflation, and ensure thousands of local workers find good-paying jobs.”
