Frontline Democrats Joined President Biden at White House After Passing Once-In-A-Generation Investments to Strengthen America’s Infrastructure
Today, President Biden was joined by several key House Democrats as he signed the wildly popular Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law.
This infrastructure deal marks the most meaningful action on our nation’s infrastructure in nearly a century, and thanks to the leadership of President Biden and Congressional Democrats, families across the country will soon be able to directly feel the effects of the bill’s game-changing investments.
From fixing the nation’s crumbling roads and bridges, easing inflation, providing millions of Americans with good-paying union jobs, making long overdue changes to strengthen supply chain efficiency, and ensuring every American has access to high speed internet, Americans across the country will see the impacts of this legislation in nearly every corner of their lives.
“For years, Washington has talked about getting infrastructure done and failed, but now President Biden just delivered the largest investment in infrastructure in 50 years,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “It’s House Democrats that delivered on getting engineers, pipefitters, construction workers, and millions of Americans to work in good paying, union jobs building America. The vast majority of Republicans voted against investing in our country and that’s a shame they’ll have to defend next November.”
