President George H. W. Bush Will Reportedly Vote for Clinton – Why Can’t House Republicans Also Put Country First?

Former President George H. W. Bush will reportedly vote for Hillary Clinton for president, news which the Bush family has not denied. President Bush knows what it takes to be Commander in Chief, and this decision demonstrates the former president’s recognition that Donald Trump is unfit to lead our country through the complicated issues of national and economic security that this job requires.

As a WWII veteran, former ambassador, Director of the CIA, and Commander in Chief, Bush knows better than most that this is a dangerous and complicated world. He is willing to put the safety and security of his country over the Republican Party – why aren’t House Republicans?

“Note to House Republicans: this is how to put your country before party loyalty. President Bush is intimately familiar with the complicated challenges that the President of the United States must face, and has determined that Donald Trump is unfit for the job. President Bush deserves plaudits and House Republicans deserve intense scrutiny from voters for their refusal to stand up to Donald Trump,” said Meredith Kelly of the DCCC.
