Last night, Politico reported on an initial leaked Supreme Court opinion that stated, “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled” by the majority.
This came on the heels of a Washington Post report that Republicans plan on pushing a 6-week national ban on abortion and other states criminalizing abortions.
In 2018, Allan Fung said he opposed codifying Roe v. Wade in Rhode Island. Fung has been notably silent since the report was published and has aligned with Republicans hell-bent on banning abortion.
Reminder: Recent national polls find around 70% of Americans oppose overturning Roe.
