Last night, Yvette Herrell voted against sending critical aid to Ukraine, as the country faces continued brutal attacks from Russia.
This is not the first time Herrell has opposed providing aid to our democratic ally. She voted against an initial aid package in March and even opposed upholding the principles of democracy outlined by NATO.
While every single House Democrat voted in favor of the latest aid package, Republicans are still struggling to identify the good guys and bad guys in the conflict between a democratic bastion and an authoritarian regime.
Yvette Herrell’s vote last night is just the latest show of contempt for democracy – whether abroad or at home. Herrell has voted to overturn the results of the 2020 election, swooned over the endorsement of an insurrectionist, and accepted campaign donations from fake electors.
