Q2 House Democratic Fundraising Rundown

Frontline House Democratic Members and Challengers Across America are winning big in the off-year

Democrats just wrapped up Q2 fundraising with an emphatic point; no one is taking anything for granted as we work to protect and grow the most diverse House Majority in American history. And it’s not just the DCCC: Democratic challenger campaigns, along with Members of the DCCC’s Frontline program, are turning in absolutely earth shattering fundraising totals.

DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos released the following statement:

“I’m an athlete and my coaches always taught me that you win in the off-season. From the DCCC’s record breaking fundraising, to eye-popping numbers from Frontline Democrats, to Democratic challenger candidates already outraising longtime Washington Republican incumbents, it’s clear we’ve taken that advice to heart and we’re leaving nothing on the table. Now let’s go earn every vote.”

Fundraising Quick Facts:

  • 5 Democratic challenger campaigns have already outraised GOP incumbents.
  • 33 of 36 Democratic Frontline Members who flipped seats outraised the GOP Incumbent who held that seat in Q2 2017.
  • 20 Frontline Members reported raising over $600,000.
  • 30 Frontline Members raised over $500,000.
  • 17 Frontline Members have either over $1,000,000 cash on hand, or are within $50k of the $1,000,000 mark.
  • At the end of Q2 2019, Democratic Frontline Members have over $38,000,000 on hand.

Bonus Fact:

  • Yesterday morning, the DCCC announced raising $29.2 million in Q2, it’s best off-year in history, best first six months of an off-year at $61.7 million, and… The DCCC outraised all of the Democratic candidates for President in Q2.
