Zach Nunn
Iowa’s 3rd (IA - 03)
Updated: August 6, 2026
Overview
Voters need to know Zach Nunn is a corrupt DC politician.
SUMMARY:
Voters in the Des Moines and Ottumwa media markets need to see TV ads on broadcast and cable, and voters under 39, women over 55, independent and non-MAGA Republicans districtwide need to see and hear OTT and digital ads, hear radio, and receive mail that says:
- Zach Nunn has taken over $1 million from corporate PACs, voting their way while Iowa families pay more. Nunn took over $260,000 from the credit card industry and voted to let credit card companies charge fees up to 6 times higher. And took tens of thousands from Big Pharma, and voted their way every time; opposed capping insulin at $35 a month, and opposed allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices.
- Zach Nunn does not put America first when it counts. Nunn took thousands from PACs affiliated with Chinese owned companies and supported a bill that secured a special tax break for one. He serves on the committee that’s supposed to hold China accountable, but skipped nearly half the hearings and pushed a bill that would expand China’s share of the U.S. pork market at Iowa farmers’ expense.
- Iowa has the nation’s second-highest cancer rate, but Zach Nunn has made access to treatment harder and more expensive. Nunn took tens of thousands from Big Pharma, and he backed letting drug companies continue to charge thousands of dollars a month for cancer drugs and let insurers deny coverage for people with cancer. Nunn also voted for nearly $1 trillion in healthcare cuts that have forced rural hospitals in Iowa to close, leaving some cancer patients driving hours for care.
