Overview

Further polling is needed to understand the impact of how positive communication about Bryan Steil could impact the WI-01 Congressional race. Polling should look at:

• First, what happens if positive ads in support of Bryan Steil start running earlier than Mitchell Berman and how that could impact the race results. 
• Then the impact that introducing positive communication about Mitch Berman would have on the race. This introduction should focus on Mitch’s working-class background and career as an E.R. nurse who spent over a decade caring for veterans at the VA and how he is running for Congress to crack down on corruption in Washington and put partisan politics aside to get things done.
• Finally, negative message testing about both candidates in order to understand how the race could end. It is important to learn more about where voters stand on the following:
  • Steil’s support for and enabling of Trump’s policies 
  • Steil’s stance regarding releasing the Epstein files 
  • Steil’s record on using healthcare cuts to give tax breaks to billionaires and any other votes that helped to raise costs including on issues like tariffs and the war in Iran
  • Steil’s record on data centers and outsourcing jobs to China
  • Steil’s background as a corporate lawyer and his own stock trades
