Alaska’s At-Large (AK - At-Large)
Updated: October 22, 2020
Don Young has lost his clout and is no longer able to deliver for Alaska. He cares more about special interest donors than he does about Alaskans and their health.
Voters and voters on the go need to see:
- After 47 years in Congress, Don Young isn’t committed to the job anymore. He has missed key votes that impact Alaska, including votes on the Alaska petroleum reserve, a bill to give $30M in federal funding to Alaska, votes supporting our oil and gas industry, and an emergency relief vote during the pandemic. “Don is, like, never there; he’s not a player. He’d have to go back and reintroduce himself to members,” said a GOP lawmaker. He used to chair committees, but during a scandal he lost his leadership positions, and Alaska has lost nearly $1 billion in transportation dollars since then. (BACK UP)
Voters should see these messages in a straight forward and serious way.
