Overview

Nick Begich is out of touch with Alaska and is an elitist who is enriching himself and his billionaire buddies at the expense of hardworking Alaskans. Bill Hill is an Independent commercial fisherman and school teacher who will end the war and make the billionaires and corporations pay their fair share so we can lower fuel and everyday costs – and he is the only choice for Alaskans who want to beat Begich.

SUMMARY

Starting immediately and going through the election, Democrats and left-leaning unaffiliated voters, including Democrats who don’t vote in every election, need to see digital ads on streaming, OTT, and Meta, receive mail, and hear from content creators, that make clear:

  • Eric Hafner is a fake “Democrat” who is actually in prison in New York for threatening to murder judges and other public servants. He has never been to Alaska.
  • Bill Hill is the candidate endorsed by the Alaska Democratic Party and organized labor, who can beat Republican Nick Begich.

Voters, especially Independents, Libertarians, Democratic-leaning voters, Alaska Native voters, and voters under the age of 40, need to see broadcast TV ads including on primetime and live sports, digital ads on YouTube, streaming, and OTT, and receive mail, that contrasts Bill Hill with Nick Begich:

  • First, Nick Begich is making life more expensive for working and older Alaskans, while voting for tax breaks for himself. While Alaskans are spending $2,345 more on their everyday expenses, Begich supports the tariff taxes that are making everything more expensive. He voted to send $37 billion of our taxpayers dollars overseas for the War in Iran, while fuel costs rise in Alaska. And he even called Social Security a Ponzi scheme and voted for a bill that was called a ‘backdoor for privatizing Social Security.’
  • Second, Nick Begich is an Epstein-class elitist.  He voted to protect child abusers and rapists. He voted to prevent the release of the Epstein files, even after learning that Epstein’s sex trafficking operation exploited girls as young as 14 for sex.
  • Meanwhile, Bill Hill is a Bristol Bay fisherman and lifelong Independent. An Alaska Native commercial fisherman and teacher, Bill is fighting for an Alaska where working hard means earning a good living. Bill believes that the wealthy D.C. elites need to play by the same rules we do. Bill will make billionaires and corporations pay their share so we can lower the cost of healthcare and fuel and fund our schools.

Voters who live in majority Alaska Native precincts need to receive mail and see digital ads on Meta, YouTube, streaming, and OTT, that:

  • Bill Hill is a Dena’ina Athabascan, grew up in the Bush, and has spent most of his life there. He is a subsistence hunter and lifelong commercial fisherman fighting for lower fuel costs and reducing bycatch, and will work with Mary Peltola to bring Bush representation to Congress.
