Summary:
Voters in the Montgomery, Dothan and Columbus media markets need to see ads on cable and broadcast TV, and ads on streaming, YouTube and other digital platforms about how:
- Rhett Marques voted to raise taxes 22 times, including raising taxes on diesel and gas by 67%, car registration fees, and sales taxes. But Marques supported a federal law that cut taxes for billionaires, all while supporting cost-raising tariffs and the war in Iran that are increasing the cost of groceries, gas, and farm supplies.
Voters, especially Black voters in the Montgomery and Dothan media markets need to see ads on cable and broadcast TV, and ads on streaming, YouTube and other digital platforms about how:
- Marques supports massive cuts that would make healthcare more expensive and leave thousands of Alabamians without coverage. Marques backed nearly $1 trillion in cuts that stripped health insurance from almost 100,000 Alabamians, and raised premiums for everyone, even people covered by their employers. Several Alabama hospitals are already at risk of shutting their doors, and thanks to the plan Marques supports families will need to drive even farther for life-saving care.
