Valadao On Birthright Citizenship: "I Support…Making Some Changes Because It Is Being Exploited"
VIDEO: When Asked If He Supported Trump’s Stance On Birthright Citizenship, Valadao Said “I Support A Good Hard Look At The Process And Making Some Changes Because It Is Being Exploited, As We See Right Now.” VALADAO: “When our founding fathers designed the system, they never pictured a world where people are flying from one country to the next within hours. And they didn’t think of anything like what we’ve got today, as far as our healthcare, abilities to be able to have children, deliver children. Um, it’s, it’s something we need to be having a serious conversation about. And I don’t know if I want the Supreme Court making that decision. I think us as Congress and as legislators should be considering this in a thoughtful manner…I support a good hard look at the process and making some changes because it is being exploited, as we see right now. Um, but, we’ll see how this plays out.” [KERO, 4/7/26] (VIDEO)
