Overview

Mike Beltran is a MAGA extremist who sides with corporate special interests and Donald Trump, no matter what’s in the best interest of regular Floridians.

SUMMARY

Starting nine weeks before the election, voters, especially Black men, Latinas, and registered Democratic and Independent White voters under 40 and need to see digital ads on YouTube, and streaming, and see broadcast and cable TV ads about how:

  • Tallahassee politician Mike Beltran has a record of putting his corporate donors ahead of Floridians. In the legislature, Beltran voted to let utility companies charge higher rates and used $1 billion in taxpayer funds to bail out private insurance companies, which charge some of the highest rates in the country. These same insurance and utility companies are among his biggest campaign donors so of course, Beltran sided with them.
  • Tallahassee politician Mike Beltran is a far right extremist who will do anything Donald Trump wants, even if it costs more. Mike Beltran calls himself “MAGA Mike” and supports the extreme tariff policies that are costing the average family more than $2,500 a year. He would support the use of our taxpayer funds on foreign wars, even while they’re sending our gas prices above $4 a gallon.
  • Mike Beltran’s corruption is an invoice to be paid by regular Floridians. Since being elected to the state legislature in 2018, Mike Beltran has traded stocks and is now a multi-millionaire. In Tallahassee, he helped ensure that a tobacco company he was invested in didn’t get affected by regulation.

Starting eight weeks before the election, voters, especially Democrats, Independents and unaffiliated voters, particularly women, should receive mail about how:

  • “MAGA Mike” wrote the bill to ban abortions at conception: with no exceptions for rape or incest, and could outlaw common forms of birth control. He was even the only member of the Florida legislature – from either party – to oppose the Live Healthy Plan to lower costs and improve healthcare for Moms and babies.

Additional Resources
