Updated: September 27, 2022

Overview

Bruce Poliquin is a typical politician who doesn’t care about residents of ME-02 and whose agenda hurts families and seniors.

Summary

Voters in the Bangor and Portland media markets, excluding Fox News viewers, need to see TV ads, and pro-choice voters district-wide who are OTT/CTV subscribers need to see ads about:

  • Bruce Poliquin wants to give politicians control over women’s health care decisions. He supports allowing states to make abortion illegal even in cases of rape or incest.
  • Poliquin has said he would support an amendment to the U.S. Constitution banning abortion and in Congress, he voted to ban abortion nationwide.

Voters in the Presque Isle media market need to see TV ads, including on Fox News, and voters district-wide who are OTT/CTV subscribers need to see ads about how Bruce Poliquin makes things harder for Maine seniors:

  • In Congress, Bruce Poliquin took over $500,000 from the drug and insurance industries.
  • He opposes legislation that caps prescription drug costs for seniors, including capping insulin at $35 a month, and that allows Medicare to negotiate cheaper drug prices.
  •  By contrast, Jared Golden passed legislation that will cap prescription drug costs for seniors and empower Medicare to negotiate the price of prescription drugs for seniors.

Persuadable voters, especially Democrats, need to see a digital program on platforms like Facebook/Instagram, programmatic video, YouTube, and Google Search about how Bruce Poliquin makes things harder for Maine seniors, while Jared Golden has passed legislation that will help seniors:

  • In Congress, Poliquin took over $500,000 from the drug and insurance industries.
  • He opposes legislation that caps prescription drug costs for seniors, including capping insulin at $35 a month, and that allows Medicare to negotiate cheaper drug prices.
  • His votes put Social Security benefits at risk, and he supports raising the retirement age and capping cost-of-living increases for retirees.
  • By contrast, Jared Golden passed legislation that will cap prescription drug costs for seniors and empower Medicare to negotiate the price of prescription drugs.

It is important for voters to see a Maine woman between the ages of 35-45 delivering the message that Mainers don’t need politicians like Bruce Poliquin, who wants to ban abortions even in cases of rape and incest, directing the government to interfere with a woman’s individual rights and private medical decisions.
