Overview

Michael Bouchard Junior  “couldn’t name any areas where he disagreed with Trump” and wants to “keep progressing Trump’s agenda” even after it has jacked up costs on gas, groceries, utilities and health care. He follows Trump’s orders, even when it costs Southeast Michigan. 

SUMMARY

Starting immediately, voters need to read mail and see ads on Detroit broadcast, CTV/OTT, YouTube, and other non-skippable digital ad platforms about how Michael Bouchard Jr. blindly falls in line with Trump even when it costs Michigan:

  • Bouchard Jr. “couldn’t name any areas where he disagreed with Trump.” and  said “I know how important this seat is to […] keep progressing President Trump’s agenda,” even after Trump’s tariffs cost the auto industry over $35 billion, threatening local jobs our families rely on (the tariffs have cost Michigan families over $5,600 per household). Bouchard Jr. even backs Trump’s bill that let insurance companies raise Michiganders’ premiums by as much as 30% and will kick 32,000 Michiganders off their health insurance.
  • Bouchard, Jr. sides with Trump in backing a law giving $80 billion in new tax breaks for data center developers while increasing our energy costs by hundreds each year. 

Starting immediately and through Election Day, Democratic sporadic voters and Black voters need to receive mail about how to request a ballot to vote by mail. They also need to receive mail, see ads on streaming and Youtube, and hear radio ads contrasting Michael Bouchard Jr and Christina Hines:

  • Bouchard Junior falls in line with Donald Trump. He said he wants to be Trump’s “ally in Congress” and Bouchard “couldn’t name any areas where he disagreed with Trump” long after Trump raised the cost of goods with tariffs, passed the largest Medicaid cut in history, and hiked health care premiums.
  • Christina Hines is a middle class mom and SVU prosecutor from Warren who will lower costs, crack down on corruption, keep our families safe and push for good-paying manufacturing jobs.

  • Voters need to receive communications regarding Bouchard Jr that are aggressive and clearly present the threat he is to voters’ way of life and pocketbooks.
