When Asked What The Solution Was To Affordable Housing, Aaron Flint Deflected From The Housing Issue And Said, “The Biggest Thing We Need Right Now Is Jobs, Jobs, Jobs”

VIDEO: When Asked What The Solution Was To Affordable Housing, Flint Said, “The Biggest Thing We Need Right Now Is Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.” HOST: “You mentioned in that last answer, affordable housing, because that's a big topic.” FLINT: “Yeah.” HOST: “What is the solution? Because there seems to be different ideas as to how we're going how to go about it.” FLINT: “Well, first, the biggest thing we need right now is jobs, jobs, jobs. If we want to talk affordability, we've got to talk about jobs, jobs, jobs. And for me, what that means is, when you get to Congress, you've got to codify, codify, codify. We've got to get these big government regulations out of the way. We know that big government regulations are what are largely driven up cost of housing as well. So that's the big thing. We've got to make our timber industry great again. We've got to get folks cleaning up our forests again, making our forests healthy again.” [NBC Montana via YouTube, 11:11, 3/17/26] (VIDEO)

VIDEO: Flint: “Trades Education Is Also Part Of This Affordable Housing Deal.” FLINT: “Out of nowhere. I get a text from Josh Smith, you know, the man from the Montana Knife Company. And anyway, I'm like, man, I'm actually just rolling past your location right now. I said, hey, maybe, maybe we should drop in for a cup of coffee. So we drop in get a cup of coffee. He shows me his incredible new headquarters. I mean, it is massive. I know they're gonna have a grand opening soon, and I'm sure you guys will be there. But massive, new, new headquarters. He's got 120 employees out there. We were talking trades education. This is why trades education is also a part of this affordable housing deal. We were talking trades education.” [NBC Montana via YouTube, 14:14, 3/17/26] (VIDEO)
