Overview

Corrupt career politician Mike Turner is beholden to special interests. Kristina Knickerbocker, an Air Force veteran and nurse, has devoted her life to public service and will rein in corruption in Washington.

Summary:

Starting as soon as possible, voters– especially women under 55, non-college educated voters, white voters, independents, non-MAGA Republicans, voters in Butler County and Montgomery County, and voters of color – need to read mail, hear radio ads, and see ads on broadcast TV, cable, and streaming, including YouTube, about the contrast between Mike Turner and Kristina Knickerbocker:

  • As a Wright-Patterson Air Force Base veteran and nurse who has seen how our health care system is failing firsthand , Kristina Knickerbocker has led a career committed to public service. She believes it’s time to hold Washington accountable, and that’s why she does not take corporate PAC money and supports term limits.
  • Turner is only focused on enriching himself. After more than 30 years in politics, Turner has benefited from this system for decades, taking millions from corporate PACs, spending $140,000 on luxury travel and meals, and requesting $3.4 million in taxpayer dollars for an organization run by his donors, which also gave a no-bid contract to Turner’s then-wife. He even took money tied to one of Epstein’s biggest confidants – and then turned around and refused to hold them accountable.
  • Turner has also been named one of the most corrupt members of Congress by a nonpartisan watchdog.

Voters may also need to see ads that feature real constituents sharing how Mike Turner’s sellout to special interests and party bosses in Washington is costing Ohio families

  • Turner voted repeatedly to send America’s soldiers into unnecessary, dangerous wars, including voting for Trump’s $38 billion war with Iran that is raising our gas prices, even when other Republicans voted to end it.
  • Turner voted to give huge tax breaks to Big Tech companies who build more data centers in Ohio. Turner wants your tax dollars to go to AI companies whose data centers use massive amounts of power and water and pass on higher utility rates to Ohio families.
  • Mike Turner has taken over 750,000 dollars from pharmaceutical and health care interests, while voting dozens of times for policies that would raise health insurance premiums, deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, and keep prescription drug prices high.
