  • De La Cruz and his backers supported the largest cut to Medicaid in history, cutting healthcare access for over 1.6 million Texans and gutting rural hospital funding, forcing Texans off their coverage and raising premiums by an average of 35% – all to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

Johnny is committed to taking on big corporations and stopping them from price gouging, capping the cost of life-saving medication, lowering the price of gas, tackling the housing crisis, and bringing down the costs of utilities and groceries.
