Overview

Career politician Rob Wittman has spent nearly two decades taking advantage of the culture of corruption in Washington to benefit himself and his corporate donors while it costs Virginians. As Henrico County’s top prosecutor Shannon Taylor has taken on violent criminals, scammers and even members of her own party and is now running to end the corruption that is harming her community.

  • Voters in the Richmond and Norfolk media markets need to continue seeing digital ads on CTV, YouTube, and other streaming platforms and on broadcast TV and cable, and voters in the DC market need to see digital ads on CTV, YouTube, and other streaming platforms and voters especially in the Norfolk market and Independent, Black voters, white women, seniors, and men under 55 across the district need to receive mail and hear radio ads about how:
    • Wittman’s net worth jumped from as much as $200,000 to as much as $8.1 million over his time in Congress. He has traded $2.5 million worth of stocks including in companies that he was supposed to be regulating, and may have had access to information no other American had access to. He personally profited as companies raised prices on Virginians.
  • Voters, especially Black voters need to see digital ads on CTV, YouTube, and other streaming platforms and receive mail about how:  
    • Rob Wittman voted to kick hundreds of thousands of Virginians off their health care and put rural hospitals on the brink of closure, to pay for tax breaks for himself and the price-gouging corporations who’ve donated millions to his campaigns.
  • 7 weeks before Election Day, voters in the Richmond and Norfolk media markets need to see digital ads on CTV, YouTube, and other streaming platforms and on broadcast TV and cable, and voters in the DC media market need to see digital ads on CTV, YouTube, and other streaming platforms and voters especially in the Norfolk market and Independent, Black voters, white women, seniors, and men under 55 across the district need to see mail and hear radio ads about how:
    • In the two decades he’s been in Congress, Wittman’s net worth has increased as much as 40-fold, becoming a multi-millionaire while working on the taxpayers’ dime – all while voting to give himself a tax break of up to nearly $60,000, voting 7 times to raise his own pay, and voting to give himself taxpayer-subsidized health care for life, while voting to jack up healthcare costs on the people he serves.
    • Wittman has personally invested in stocks of a monopoly utility giant and companies building data centers, so while Virginians pay more, he profits more. He voted to give a massive tax break to big tech companies to keep building data centers in Virginia, which could make Virginians’ heating and electrical bills go up 50%.  He even voted to increase our electricity rates. Never forget: he profits when we pay more.  
  • Voters, especially Black voters and Democratic voters who have voted in 1 of the last 3 or 1 of the last 4 General Elections who live in Henrico zip codes 23294, 23060 Hanover zip code 23738 and Williamsburg Area zip codes 23185, 23690 need to hear from canvassers that:
    • Shannon Taylor was raised by a nurse and an educator here in Virginia. She’s spent her career keeping our communities safe – first in juvenile court, protecting young girls, and now as Henrico’s top prosecutor. She’s a prosecutor, not a politician, and she’s running to end the political corruption that’s raising our costs. 
    • Rob Wittman has spent nearly two decades in Washington lining his own pockets and serving his donors, while screwing over regular Virginians with higher costs – including voting to jack up our healthcare costs and utility bills. He has traded $2.5 million worth of stocks including in companies that he was supposed to be regulating – personally profiting as companies raised prices on Virginians.
