A nonpartisan New Jersey pollster finds former Navy helicopter pilot Rebecca Bennett opening up a 5-point lead over Kean Jr., 47% – 42%.
Kean Jr.’s job approval numbers are abysmal: only 37% of voters approve of the job he is doing in Congress, while 60% disapprove. Remarkably, those brutal approval numbers are even worse than Trump’s are in the district.
