The Supreme Court has officially overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion for millions of women and paving the way for Republicans to pass a nationwide ban on abortion. It’s a future that Jesse Reising and Regan Deering have long worked toward by supporting overturning Roe – and now they will have to own up to their extreme, deeply unpopular positions.
Make no mistake: Deering and Reising are completely out of step with Illinois voters on this issue. They will be held accountable for their party’s role in decimating women’s reproductive freedoms and their plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban – undoing the will of Illinois voters.
