Today, the President called for a three-month federal gas tax holiday to ease rising prices – a proposal backed by 73 percent of voters.
But that hasn’t stopped Amanda Adkins from opposing gas tax relief that would deliver an immediate and much-needed tax cut for middle class families.
While Representative Davids has been a leader in pushing the President to temporarily suspend the federal gas tax and save Kansans’ hard earned money, Adkins continues to double down on her opposition to common-sense tax relief.
DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw
“The contrast could not be more clear: Representative Davids is working to bring down rising gas prices, while Amanda Adkins opposes common sense tax relief to ease Kansans’ pain at the pump.”
