On the 88th anniversary of the Social Security Act being signed into law, Bryan Steil is lying to his constituents about MAGA House Republicans’ plans to cut Wisconsin seniors’ hard-earned benefits.
Earlier this month, Steil lied when he told Wisconsites that Republicans had no plans to cut Social Security and Medicare. The Republican Study Committee, which Steil is a member of, unveiled their latest budget proposal in June which detailed plans to raise the retirement age, reduce benefits, and privatize Medicare.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
