In light of the indictment of Donald Trump for trying to overturn a free and fair election, let’s not forget that Derrick Van Orden attended the “Stop the Steal” rally and was caught trespassing at the Capitol with his fellow insurrectionists – despite his attempts to deny it.
Just last month, Van Orden screamed at high school Senate pages in the Capitol for what he called “defiling the space,” apparently forgetting he himself stormed the Capitol and was part of an insurrection that resulted in multiple deaths, 140 officers injured, and millions of dollars in damages.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Wisconsinites won’t soon forget that Derrick Van Orden stormed the Capitol on January 6th and tried to overthrow the U.S. government with his fellow insurrectionists. From bullying children to being part of a deadly insurrection, Van Orden has made it clear he’s unfit for public office.”
