Two years ago, Don Bacon applauded the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman’s right to have an abortion, paving the way for Nebraska to pass a dangerous abortion ban last year.
Bacon’s goal has always been to ban abortion nationwide. He co-sponsored the Life At Conception Actthreetimes, a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
In the two years since Bacon cheered for the fall of Roe, he has worked to further restrict women’s reproductive freedoms across the country – from working to outlaw abortion medication, voting to allow states to implement abortion bans, to electing a Speaker who wants to “get the number of abortions to ZERO.”
