Reminder: Don Bacon Voted to Gut Funding for Law Enforcement

Don Bacon celebrated National First Responders Day, but less than a month ago, he supported devastating cuts to law enforcement.

Bacon turned his back on Nebraska’s first responders, voting for legislation that made drastic cuts to public safety programs, including:

• Bulletproof vests

• Training to help officers survive violent encounters

• Programs combating violence against women and aiding survivors

• Programs addressing the opioid epidemic
