As a lawyer, Eric Flores has made defending accused predators his bread and butter.
According to reporting, Flores served as lead defense counsel for a high school football coach accused of “trauma, abuse and injustice upon a vulnerable student.” The coach “ordered a minor student to ‘perform strenuous physical exercise completely nude’ and ‘threatened and ordered him to remain nude’ when he attempted to cover himself with underwear.”
What did Flores have to say about the alleged abuse? It didn’t merit “excessive force” because the coach was just “exercising judgement.”
REMINDER: Flores can’t get enough of defending accused abusers. Flores has also represented at least two others accused of domestic violence felonies, including multiple strangulation charges and assault that caused “substantial risk of serious bodily injury.” Flores “secure[d] plea deals that dramatically reduced their charges and left them with minimal jail time.”
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Eric Flores has literally defended an accused child predator in kids’ sports. He thinks male coaches should be allowed to force students to exercise fully naked in front of them. Texas children aren’t safe under Eric Flores’ watch.”
