Trump’s visit comes just weeks after Democrats and Senate Republicans worked together to deliver bipartisan legislation – a proposal supported by 2 out of 3 Americans – to invest $20 billion to fix the nation’s broken immigration system.

Donald Trump and House Republicans killed this deal because they’d rather use the border as a campaign issue.
