In light of former FBI Director Comey’s statement that there is “no doubt” Russia was behind the hack of the DCCC, Communications Director Meredith Kelly released the following statement:
“Former FBI Director Comey has confirmed – without a doubt – what we already knew: that Russia is responsible for the 2016 hack of the DCCC. Nearly as disturbing is that Congressional Republicans and the NRCC utilized DCCC documents stolen by Russia to their political benefit, in order to help win House races. This was ugly and unpatriotic, and House Republicans and their allies will be on the wrong side of history when it comes to Russia’s intervention in our elections.”
