With J.D. Vance in the news, here’s a reminder that voters in Ohio’s 1st, 9th, and 13th Congressional districts have already rejected the extremist and his anti-abortion agenda.
Like Vance – who supports “eliminating abortion” – Orlando Sonza, Derek Merrin, and Kevin Coughlin have all backed extreme, out-of-touch legislation that would rip away women’s fundamental reproductive freedoms.
Vance’s history opposing abortion rights includes:

Supporting a near-total abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest.

Arguing that “two wrongs don’t make a right” when asked whether abortion bans should allow exceptions for rape and incest.

Campaigning against Ohio’s ballot initiative to protect reproductive rights, calling the measure’s passage “a gut punch.”

Voting against codifying Roe v. Wade, and against protecting access to in vitro fertilization and contraception.
