Two years ago, John James applauded the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman’s right to have an abortion.
In the two years since James cheered for the fall of Roe, he has desperately tried to hide his fervent anti-abortion extremism. But in Congress, James and his party have worked to further restrict women’s reproductive freedoms.
From working to outlaw abortion medication, voting to allow states to implement abortion bans, to unanimously electing a Speaker who wants to “get the number of abortions to ZERO,” House Republicans have made it clear the Dobbs decision they celebrated was just the first step in their mission to ban abortion nationwide.
