REMINDER: Juan Ciscomani Repeatedly Voted To Raise Costs On Arizona Farmers and Ranchers

Ciscomani voted to protect reckless tariffs, raise health care premiums on AZ farmers

Juan Ciscomani can’t hide from his disastrous record hurting Arizona farmers and ranchers. In the last year alone:

  1. Ciscomani voted TWICE last month to protect price-spiking tariffs that are devastating Arizona’s agricultural economy. Ciscomani voted for similar legislation to protect tariffs last year.
  1. Ciscomani stayed SILENT while the Administration proposed importing Argentinian beef – a slap in the face to cattle ranchers across Arizona.
  1. Ciscomani voted AGAINST extending Affordable Care Act tax credits, which provide a crucial lifeline to many of the 1 in 4 farmers and ranchers who depend on the ACA marketplace.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Juan Ciscomani is trying to gaslight Arizonans into thinking he supports farmers and ranchers. In reality, Ciscomani repeatedly voted to raise costs on everything from farm equipment to fertilizer to fuel, slash export markets, and kick countless farmers off their health care. Not to mention Ciscomani stayed silent when the Administration proposed undercutting Arizona ranchers by importing foreign beef. Either Ciscomani doesn’t pay attention, or he just doesn’t care.”
