As America’s economy continues to reap the benefits of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act one year since its historic passage, Coloradans should remember that Lauren Boebert voted against this game-changing legislation that invests in America, creates good-paying union construction and manufacturing jobs, and ensures U.S. competitiveness with the Chinese Communist Party.
Boebert voted against:
Bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the U.S. and reducing production delays.
Catalyzing regional economic growth across the nation.
Creating investments in STEM education and training from K-12 to community college, undergraduate and graduate education.
Rather than vote for bipartisan legislation in service of her constituents, Boebert has spent her time in Congress embracing a dangerous agenda and cementing her place as one of the most extreme members of Congress.
DCCC spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Lauren Boebert’s vote against the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act is a vote against common-sense legislation that is lowering costs and creating better-paying jobs. Her actions to push an extreme agenda over voting for kitchen table issues will cost them next November.”
