REMINDER: Lauren Boebert Voted Against Providing Benefits for Our Nation’s Toxic-Exposed Veterans

Today marks one year since the Honoring our PACT Act became law

Today, the DCCC is reminding Coloradans that extremist Lauren Boebert voted against the bipartisan Honoring Our PACT Act, which was signed into law by President Biden one year ago.

Boebert voted against:

  • Expanding access to critical care for veterans who were exposed to dangerous toxic chemicals during their service

  • Extending the period of time that post-9/11 combat veterans have to enroll in VA health care from five years to 10 years

  • Authorizing new VA medical and research centers in Colorado

  • Streamlining veterans’ ability to access critical resources and care

This isn’t the first time Lauren Boebert has voted against the brave men and women who have served our nation. This Congress, she voted for the Default on America Actwhich would cut veterans’ health benefits and lead to a dramatic increase in the disability claims backlog.

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“When Lauren Boebert voted against the Honoring Our PACT Act, she put party politics over service to country. Boebert’s vote against aiding toxic-exposed veterans is a reminder of just how extreme and unwilling she is to work to find common ground for those who deserve it the most.
