REMINDER: Mariannette Miller-Meeks Voted Against Lowering Costs, Creating Jobs, and Spurring Innovation

As America’s economy continues to reap the benefits of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act one year since its historic passage, Iowans should remember that Mariannette Miller-Meeks voted against this game-changing legislation that invests in America, creates good-paying union construction and manufacturing jobs, and ensures U.S. competitiveness with the Chinese Communist Party.

Miller-Meeks voted against:

  • Bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the U.S. and reducing production delays.

  • Catalyzing regional economic growth across the nation.

  • Creating investments in STEM education and training from K-12 to community college, undergraduate and graduate education.

Rather than vote for bipartisan legislation in service of her constituents, Miller-Meeks has spent her time in Congress appeasing party bosses. Even worse, this Congress, Miller-Meeks has voted with extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene 88% of the time

DCCC spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ vote against the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act is a vote against common-sense legislation that is lowering costs and creating better-paying jobs. Her actions to push an extreme agenda over voting for kitchen table issues will cost them next November.”
