| As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Max Miller has no one to blame but himself for today’s health care crisis.
Northeast Ohioans are already experiencing devastatingly higher health care costs because Miller let ACA tax credits expire last year – with many Americans even forced to drop their coverage entirely due to higher costs.
Miller has consistently attacked Americans’ access to health care. He:
- Voted to pass the largest cuts to Medicaid in history – TWICE
- Voted to kick 15 million people off of their health care
- Put nearly 600,000 Ohioans at risk of losing health care coverage and becoming uninsured
- Cut millions in revenue for local hospitals, including UH Parma Medical Center in Miller’s District
Make no mistake: Miller was too much of a coward to stand up to his D.C. party bosses when it actually mattered. Now, Ohioans are paying the price.
DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Voters will remember that Max Miller is already responsible for skyrocketing health care prices. If Miller was ever serious about keeping health care affordable, he would’ve taken action when there was still time to save the tax credits folks rely on from expiring to begin with.” |
