Lawler applauded convicted felon Donald Trump for bragging about overturning Roe v. Wade
Two years ago, vulnerable New York Republican Mike Lawler applauded the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman’s right to have an abortion.
In the two years since Lawler cheered for the fall of Roe, his extreme party has worked to further restrict women’s reproductive freedoms.
From working to outlaw abortion medication, voting to allow states to implement abortion bans, to unanimously electing a Speaker who wants to “get the number of abortions to ZERO,” Lawler and House Republicans have made it clear the Dobbs decision they celebrated was just the first step in their mission to ban abortion nationwide.
