As America’s economy continues to reap the benefits of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act one year since its historic passage, Pennsylvanians should remember that Scott Perry voted against this game-changing legislation that invests in America, creates good-paying union construction and manufacturing jobs, and ensures U.S. competitiveness with the Chinese Communist Party.
Perry voted against:
Bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the U.S. and reducing production delays.
Catalyzing regional economic growth across the nation.
Creating investments in STEM education and training from K-12 to community college, undergraduate and graduate education.
Rather than vote for bipartisan legislation in service of his constituents, Perry has spent his time in Congress appeasing party bosses. Even worse, this Congress, Perry has voted with extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene 92% of the time.
DCCC spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Perry’s vote against the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act is a vote against common-sense legislation that is lowering costs and creating better-paying jobs. His actions to push an extreme agenda over voting for kitchen table issues will cost them next November.”
