REMINDER: Zach Nunn Is To Blame For Iowans’ Rising Health Care Costs

Iowans are already experiencing devastatingly higher health care costs because Nunn let ACA tax credits expire last year – with many Americans even forced to drop their coverage entirely due to higher costs.

REMINDER: Nunn has consistently attacked Iowans’ access to health care.

• Nunn said that the ACA tax credits “[have] been driving up the health-care costs for everybody” and agreed with a TV host who said he had “no problem letting those [credits] expire.” Nunn refused to sign the discharge petition to extend the credits before they expired.
• Nunn voted to pass the largest cuts to Medicaid in history – TWICE. 
• Nunn put nearly 137,000 Iowans at risk of losing health care coverage and becoming uninsured and jeopardized Iowa’s rural hospitals.
• Nunn is to blame for the 25,000 people in IA-03 who will be forced to pay nearly double the cost on average for their health insurance premiums without these tax credits. 

Make no mistake: Nunn was too much of a coward to stand up to his D.C. party bosses when it actually mattered. Now Iowans are paying the price.
