Reminder: Zach Nunn Laid the Groundwork For Iowa’s Abortion Ban

Yesterday, the Iowa Supreme Court began oral arguments for the state’s strict abortion ban that would ban abortion before many women know they’re pregnant.

Zach Nunn paved the way for these dangerous attacks on women’s reproductive freedoms. In the state legislature, Nunn voted for “the most restrictive abortion ban in the nation” – a bill nearly identical to the ban held up in the courts.

Nunn also voted for legislation that would jeopardize Iowa women’s access to abortion, birth control, and IVF and voted for a constitutional amendment that would completely eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa.

Now he wants to do the same in Congress: he raised his hand in support of a national abortion ban with zero exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
