Reminder: Zach Nunn Voted to Gut Funding for Law Enforcement

Zach Nunn is celebrating National First Responders Day but in reality, he supported devastating cuts to law enforcement less than a month ago.

Nunn turned his back on Iowa’s first responders and voted for legislation that would make drastic cuts to public safety programs, including:

• Bulletproof vests

• Training to help officers survive violent encounters

• Programs combating violence against women and aiding survivors

• Programs addressing the opioid epidemic
