Tonight Rep. Mike Bost is holding yet another telephone town hall, despite growing pressure from his constituents for him to hold in person town halls as he promised to do when he first ran for Congress.
“After Congress had a four day weekend, Rep. Mike Bost is still spending taxpayer dollars hiding behind a telephone in D.C. to give scripted answers to pre-approved questions,” said DCCC spokesman Jacob Peters. “Bost has become exactly who he promised not to be: a do-nothing politician who votes with Paul Ryan and Washington Republicans over Southern Illinois and then won’t answer to his constituents for it.”
