Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: “I See Republicans Losing the House”

After correctly blasting Speaker Johnson and House Republicans for driving up health care costs on millions of hardworking Americans earlier this month, Majorie Taylor Green is again speaking truth to (Republican) power.

In a recent interview with Semafor, the congresswoman from Georgia – in no uncertain terms – predicted the electoral shellacking Republicans would get in the midterms unless they adjusted course:

“I see Republicans losing the House if Americans are continuing to go paycheck-to-paycheck.”

According to the latest data, all signs point to everyday Americans continuing to struggle with rising prices under the anemic Republican economy. In a AP-NORC poll released this week, a majority (54%) of U.S. adults said the cost of groceries are a “major source” of stress in their life right now. 68% described the economy as “poor.”

One respondent from Ohio shared how she is currently working two jobs yet still “can barely tread water” these days.

Adding insult to well, more insult, Congresswoman Greene went on to explain how Speaker Johnson is not at all serious when he falsely claims that Republicans want to expand access to affordable health care in America:

“Mike Johnson is at the press conferences every morning saying that we’ve got pages and pages, or we’ve got a Republican plan — yet I haven’t seen one single page of the so-called Republican plan. I haven’t heard one single GOP conference call on this issue.”

“It’s like, where is it?” Greene added. “The Republican Party is failing.”

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
”They say even a broken clock is right twice a day. Welp.”
